Majors Brian & Millie Bearchell were commissioned (ordained) as Salvation Army Officers in 1981, and have served in several corps, Divisional & Territorial Headquarters. Brian and Millie will celebrate 38 years of marriage in June of this year. They have 3 adult children, 2 are married and a daughter who just graduated with her degree in child development in december 2016. They have 5 terrific grandchildren who refer to them as Papa and Mimi. They enjoying reading, gardening and being with their family. going out on the water on their sailboat is one of their favorite pastimes. They love people and love to bring others into a greater understanding of Christian living.
Lieutenant Sam Fowler was commissioned (ordained) as a Salvation Army Officer in 2014, originally coming from Seattle, Washington. Sam married his wife leah, an australian, in december of 2014. Sam is an avid NBA fan, enjoys reading, and likes doing photography in his spare time. One day he and Leah would like to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Peru and catalog the whole journey through photos and video. sam and leah are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in april 2017. Sam loves people and has a strong passion to preach and teach holy living.
